SarahHomfray.com delivers throughout the UK and Overseas with a few exceptions (see below). We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days of receipt; please note, as of January 2024, orders will be dispatched on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.Orders will only be dispatched once full payment has been received. Payment is by card, cheque or bank transfer:
By Cheque: Select the 'by post' option on the payment screen. Cheques must be drawn in sterling on a UK bank only. The address is on the confirmation page, please finish the process (when you have received confirmation) in order for the order to register with us. Your order will be sent once the cheque has cleared.
By Card: You can make secure card payments via the Stripe or Paypal payment gateways or by PayPal

We suggest using Wise to transfer money from outside the UK (formerly Transferwise). They offer good rates and very low fees; your bank will charge you a lot more for this service and payment completes in just a few days. Click on the link above to get a quote and pay.

Returns
In compliance with the distance selling regulations, you may return an item(s) to us unused and unopened within fourteen working days of receipt for a full refund (the customer will bare the cost of the return postage). Outside of this fourteen day period, items can only be refunded or replaced if faulty.
Refunds
Damaged/faulty items must be returned before a replacement is sent or a refund issued; the cost of returning the items will be reimbursed, second class post only. In the case of lost items the post office claim procedure will be taken up before a replacement item is sent; proof of posting is obtained for all orders. Please use the standard mail service provided by your mail carrier (we cannot refund items sent by courier services) and please obtain proof of posting. Return your items to the address on the back of the package (or alternatively see the contact page for return address here).
Refunds will be issued within 7 working days of receipt of the returned goods.
If we cannot fulfil your order, a full refund will be given.
Custom orders cannot be refunded unless faulty.
Please note, we cannot re-fund e-projects once they have been downloaded.

This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
POSTAGE
UK orders: Royal Mail 1st Class is the default service for all orders. At checkout customers will be provided with the option to have their order sent by Royal Mail 'Signed For', at additional cost. Please note, the 'Signed for' option doesn't guarantee delivery or faster delivery times
There is a minumum post & packaging charge of £1.95. Additional postage costs are determined by the total weight of the order and whether the goods will be sent as 'Large Letter', 'Small Parcel', 'Medium Parcel' etc.
Orders of £50.00 or over are sent 1st Class standard free of charge within the UK.
If you need a precise postage & packaging cost before you commit to buy, enter the items into your basket and then view. Once you have selected UK as your location and chosen your delivery method the P&P cost will be displayed. Please note, we only charge what it actually costs to send an item, we do not make money on this service.
International orders
PLEASE NOTE: Due to new EU regluations that become active on 14th December 2024 around product safety and labelling (GPSR), we are suspending orders to all EU countries while we monitor this situation and work out of it is feasible to meet these requirements. This includes Northern Ireland, and EEA member countries Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We are very sorry for this, we will reinstate this if we can.
We also cannot ship to South Africa via our usual service, please get in touch if you wish to purchase from this country here.
We do ship to the rest of the world, if your country appears in the drop down list we will ship to you! (inlcuding the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South America)
For all international orders the customer shall be responsible for any customs, tax or import duties/fees payable.
The Royal Mail's descriptions of their services:
First class Standard - Delivery aim 1 working day. No tracking or signature
First class Signed For (UK) - Delivery aim 1 working day. No tracking, signature on deliveryInternational Signed - Your item will be tracked until it leaves the UK and only handed over at its final destination once we have a signature from the recipient.
International Tracked - Ideal for sending important or valuable goods, offering tracking at five points after despatch as well as an online confirmation of delivery. This option is advisible for US orders.
International Tracked & Signed - Tracked & Signed is a combination service offering full end-to-end tracking, signature on delivery and an online delivery confirmation.
Please note not all countries offer all of these services, only available options for your country will be displayed.
Delayed or missing orders:
We will deliver your order to the address that you give us, if you give us an incorrect address and we need to send you another order/re-send the returned order, you will need to pay the postage again. Please note, If your item is marked as delivered on the tracking to the address you entered at the checkout, we cannot refund your order. If you haven't received it personally, please check with family members, neighbours, in safe places on your property etc.
UK First Class and Signed For - Expected delivery times are next working day from the date of despatch. Your item is officially in the postal system until 10 working days after the expected delivery date. We cannot re-send orders out until this time has been reached; we try and despatch the same working day and 99% of mail arrives so your patience is appreciated if your item is delayed. If you item goes missing, we will re-send your order or refund your monies as per your request.
US International Tracked and Signed - Expected delivery times to the US are currently 5-10 working days for Tracked and Tracked and Signed services. Your item is officially in the postal system until 25 working days after the expected delivery date. We cannot re-send orders out until this time has been reached; we try and despatch the same working day and 99% of mail arrives to the US so your patience is appreciated if your item is delayed. If you item goes missing on the tracking information, we will re-send your order or refund your monies as per your request.
All other countries - delivery times will vary for all other countries than those mentioned above, but the same procedure will apply.
Orders cannot be cancelled when they are in transit. If, when you receive your order, you decide you no longer want it you can return it to us and on receipt of the order we will issue you a refund for the items bought.
