This is a 2mm wide textured (ribbed) silver coloured metal ribbon used in traditional and contemporary goldwork embroidery. Lay the plate ribbon down and bend it back and forth over an area, working a stitch in each bend to hold it in place, stitch over it or thread it in a needle and sew with it!
