Size of finished embroidery 6cm x 6cm (2 ½" x 2 ½")

Materials you will need:

• Linen (colour of your choice but Sarah used the Bright Yellow!)
• Calico backing
• Black Metal Purl wire 1.2mm
• Yellow Gold Metal Purl wire 1.3mm
• Burnt Orange Bright Check Purl
• Burgundy Wire Check Purl
• Black Wire Check Purl (or black embroidery thread of your choice)
• Black Bright Check Purl (optional)
• Gold Wire Check Purl (optional)
• Black Japan thread No.5 (or black embroidery thread of your choice)
• Needles - Embroidery 9 and 10
• Embroidery scissors
• Embroidery frame (hoop or stretcher bars)

The above are all available from our shop. You will also need:

• Black, yellow and orange sew all cotton

Optional:

• Velvet Board
• Verstaile table clamp
• Mellor laying tool
