Small sized (just under 1mm diameter) gilt gold metal coil for goldwork and embroidery projects.

To use, stretch slighty to open up the coils and couch down with a waxed (see beeswax) strong sewing thread. The thread should sit between the coils. Cut the metal to the required length and stitch over twice at the ends.

Price for this item is per half metre. 

Please note that this is a more expensive metal than the other goldwork threads but it does go further once it has been stretched a little. This is gilt so there is only a very small percentage of gold content in this product.
